Rainy Day

Hey everyone!

It is such a rainy day outside, which is quite sad. But it's nice inside, and I'm really motivated today. I got all my homework done this weekend, it was my best friend's birthday, got to spend time with a good friend and when I weighed myself this morning, I have lost a pound! What a great weekend!!
I start a new week of class tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it. And then next week my friends and I get to go visit Shane!! :) Cannot wait!!

Happy Birthday!

First I just need to say happy birthday to my best friend! It's been an interesting day thus far, I was really sore when I woke up but when I started working out, then it went away. Oh my gosh, I feel so good after working out, very refreshed. Sadly, some water got spilled on my laptop, it still works but my keyboard is gone crazy. So right now I have my laptop sitting in some rice right now, hopefully that will help.
I had an absolutly amazing lunch, chicken in a berry sauce with some pasta. It was so fab! But I suppose, I should get working on my homework and then working out again before I get ready for Amanda's birthday! :)

Dreary Morning but Beautiful Inside

Hey everyone!

It's a very dreary morning outside, but I am feeling so fab inside! Yesterday I started working out and eating healthier, so I'm sure that is part of the reason why I'm feeling so great! I have a full day of classes today, so it will be a busy day. Class is about to start, so I will write even more later.

Feeling awesome but...

So today I am feeling really awesome, I have a ton of energy this morning. I've already had a great workout, ran almost a mile in 10 minutes, which is great for me! :) Now, all I have to do is keep this up and I'll reach my goals in no time. Even though I am feeling awesome, I am still quite overwhelmed with all this homework. Yes, I have gotten a few things done from my homework this morning already, but there's so much more that still needs to be done.

Let's just see what I all have to do:
       1. Get an article for Global and write a paper on it
       2. Read chapter 5 for Global
       3. Read chapters 1 and 3 for Market Research
       4. Do the chapter vignette for Market Research
       5. Handle all the emails for IBPF
       6. Look at purchasing things for IBPF
       7. Post to the Personal Financial Statements for Accounting
       8. Write my portion of a huge paper for Global

Now there is my list of homework for the day and rest of the week, not gonna lie, it's quite overwhelming. Especially after I have written this all out now, but I guess it needed to be done. Let's just hope that I can get everything done without going crazy!

Oh Goodness!!!

It has been quite a day, a very long day at that. I just started my Market Research class today, and it should be a fun class because we have a really great group in the class. It's just Rae Nell, Vicki, Pete, Kelsey, Whitney and I, a big part of our core group of marketing students. And our teacher, Nadine, is super nice, I really like her. All I know is that it is going to be a ton of work, it's only the first day and I'm somewhat overwhelmed. I just pray that I will be able to handle this extra class, when I was stressing out over my 4 classes already.

Oh well, it was a pretty good day though. Global was a ton of fun, we usually have a great time in that class. And IBPF was ok, everyone's a little stressed and overwhelmed, so it's not as fun but we're getting things done. I just hope that once we get everything up and running, that everyone will be a little less stressed. That will make life a whole lot easier, when we're all enjoying what we're doing.

Thank God that I have YAMs tonight, because I definitely need a spiritual and emotional uplift right now. I am so drained, it's unbelieveable. I have not felt like this yet this semester and we're only 2 months in, so let's hope that I can get use to all of this stress. But tonight I get to see some absolutly amazing people! :)

September 19,2011

It has been an absolutly wonderful day already! I had a ton of engery when I woke up, so working out was a lot easier. And now I have already accomplished a lot of my homework. Right now, I just have to finish my discussion for Sociology and get to work on my portion of a paper for Global.

Tomorrow, I get to start another class, Market Research. I am both looking foward to it and sort of dreading it at the same time. It will be really nice to start the class and get it done, but then it is also going to add a lot more stress to my plate. I am already stressed out, and adding this will just add more. Let's just hope that I can handle it.

People... ugh

Oh my gosh, I just have a quick rant. So I am going through things on my online classes, we have to post discussions and other things. So at the beginning of the week, my teacher posts what we all have to do, because we do not need to do everything that is listed on the learning plan. So I am going through the discussions for my Accounting class, and a few people are posting on topics that they do not need to post on! Why, oh why would you do that? Do you not read? Why would you want to do a discussion and post it if you don't have to? Seriously people, you really need to read what the teacher posts. It will save you tons of time and effort. Don't be stupid people, actually read, it helps.

Ok, anyways. That was my quick little rant, I needed to get it off my chest.

The weekend

It's been a really crazy week, there's been so much homework that needs to get done. But yesterday (Friday) was a lot of fun. My best friend and I went out to visit our friends who had their second baby boy last week, he is such a little cutie. And of course, we got to see their oldest son, Brayden, he's so much fun, he's almost 2 now. Then after I got home, I did work on homework some and got a few things accomplished. But then a few hours later, I took a break and had coffee with my best friend, at end of the trail :) After I got home, I just decided to relax, because I've been way too overly stressed lately.

Now to today (Saturday), I have got a busy day planned. Working on homework this morning and then at noon going with my best friend to end of the trail again, for our weekly Saturday meeting, and then a group of girls invited us to this party and after that church. Then coming back home to work on homework and watch the game. All I know is, I really hope to get my accounting stuff done today, because it's due Tuesday and I've got a whole bunch of other homework to get done as well.

And tomorrow (Sunday), there is church in the morning, probably end of the trail with Amanda for a lil while in the afternoon and then homework and the game the rest of the day. And dinner with the family thrown in there at night.

All in all, it is going to be a fun and busy weekend, those can be fun sometimes. Hopefully all semester is not like this!

September 15, 2011

Had class today, it was a busy day, but things went really well. Tuesdays and Thursdays are always pretty busy though, class is from 8:30 - 3:00. I also got a new phone today, so that's pretty exciting. This weekend is going to be so busy though, I have so much homework to get done. :(  It just seems like it's getting worse and worse as the days go on, and it's only going to get worse, because next week I add another class to my schedule. *sigh* Oh well, I'm doing this to myself. I'll make it through, I just need to continue to work really hard.
It will be a really busy night though, need to get a lot of homework done. Because tomorrow, I won't have a chance to. So let's hope and pray that numerous things get accomplished!

September 14, 2011

Well, what a day. It's been quite busy, worked out this morning, hung out with a friend and then homework the rest of the day. I am feeling quite overwhelmed right now with all the homework I have. Thankfully, I have everything done for tomorrow, but it just seems to keep piling up though. I'm still able to handle it right now, but I'm afraid that if it continues on like this, I'll get overly stressed. Which is the one thing that I really don't want to have happen. I'm diligently working on all of my classes, but I just don't seem to have the ambition right now. Even though the ambition isn't there, I am still getting everything done, I have to. I need to stick to my schedule if I want to get my Marketing degree done this school year, and so I can get into a 4-year college after this. Lord, I just hope that I can get through this semester without getting overly stressed. Prayers are appreciated!

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking, since I am a second year student already, I thought I would recap everyone on my first year in college. I started back in August of 2010, not really knowing what to expect. I graduated high school back in 2008, but I had no idea what to do, and now two years later there I was going to school for Marketing. When I told my mother what I was going to school for, she just sort of laughed at me. She laughed because when I was little, I was one of the shyest kids, and now I am going to college for Marketing and Business.

Looking back on things now, my first year was absolutely amazing! I have met some of the most fabulous people, many of which I am quite close to now. There are so many things that I have learned, not only about Marketing, but about myself as well. Yes, obviously I've learned a lot about Marketing, that's pretty standard though. But some things that I've learned about myself are that I can handle a lot stress. Also that I have so much more to offer people that what I give myself credit for.

But anyways, my first year has been the best, and I can't wait to see what my second year and beyond has in store for me.

Hey everyone!

My name is Sara and I am a second year Marketing student at Moraine Park Technical College, this is my last year here and then I will be pursuing a Bachelor's and Master's degree. I have decided to finally start recording my thoughts about school, life, love and everything else.
