Craziness of life

I have not posted here in so long, but so many things have happened. Like my last post stated, I'm officially a college graduate. And now I am already half way through with my first semester at Ashford University. I absolutely love it here and I have met some amazing people. Iowa isn't as bad as I thought it would be, it's very pretty in my town. But that's because it's right along the Mississippi River.

And the best news yet, I'm engaged! :) I'm so excited to get married, I can't wait. In fact, today I found my wedding dress. My fiancee, Abid, and I are getting married in December in front of his family/friends in Pakistan. And then we are having another ceremony in Wisconsin probably in October of 2013. :) I can't wait to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him. He is amazing. He is my best friend, my love, my world, my everything. I still can't believe that I'm engaged though, everything happened quite fast. But when you know, you know. And I know that I love him with all my heart and just want to spend my life with him. He is just the most amazing and the sweetest man that you will ever met. His gorgeous eyes, smile and accent doesn't hurt either :)

But I just wanted to post a quick update on my life so I'm off now.

College Graduate! :)

Well, I am officially a college graduate! :) I still can't believe it, but it's true. On Saturday I walked across the stage and became a college graduate. And I have decided where to attend college next, I'll be going to Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. So I'll be moving their on August 17th and starting classes on the 20th. I'm so excited to begin the next chapter in my life. The sky's the limit. :)

News...

Haha, wow, yet again, I haven't posted in like a month... my bad. But I have news. I am no longer going to be attending Providence Christian College, because I've changed my major. I now will be majoring in Psychology. It's something that I have been thinking about for a long time, and it was just something that I knew I had to do. I knew that God was calling me to do it, but it just took me a little while to actually listen to him... haha, that's life something though. Hey, at least I figured it out sooner or later.

Long time no post

Ha, wow, it's been a long time since I last wrote on here. So many things have happened, I've started another blog, I'm close to graduating with my Associates degree, I'm looking at moving to California for school, I had surgery, among everything else.

I'm starting up classes again next week, and I'm really looking forward to it. This break has been way too long for my liking. It doesn't help that I really have been off since November 24th, for medical reasons. But I had surgery and I'm all healed up from that and I'm ready to start my last two semesters at MPTC. That's right, I said my last 2 semesters, I'm graduating at the end of the summer! :) About a year earlier than what I expect, I am so excited about this!

I cannot wait to graduate and then go back to school for my bachelor's. I'm really looking at Providence Christian College in Pasadena, California. If I get accepted, that's where I'll be going. But right now, I'm just waiting to hear whether or not I'm accepted. These 2 years at MPTC really have flown by and I've met some truly amazing people. I love my classmates but I'm ready to move on and see what God has planned for me. Honestly, I really feel like God is leading me to Providence. I feel like I have so much to offer. And Providence will help me grow not only in my career but also spiritually seeing that it is a Christian college. That's the thing that attracted me the most to it, and yes there are other really great Christian colleges but I feel lead there. So if I don't get accepted then I'm back to square one and have to start searching again.

But I suppose, that's it for now. Until next time.
